The generosity in Germany is high; more than Euro 650,000,000 were donated solely for mitigating the consequences of the tsunami disaster in Asia. In spite of best intentions, parts of these enormous amounts have drained away, since many of the sponsored projects were not established with due regard to commercial and entrepreneurial aspects.
